Man, I miss these guys

I had no costumes to make.  No one had a hard time eating dinner because they were too excited to go out trick-or-treating.  I didn't cut out hundreds of bats to stick all over the house. There are no fake cobwebs anywhere.  We didn't carve a pumpkin.  There will be no piles of candy on the floor tonight with intense trading going on.  No one is going to say, "here Mom, you can have this Mr. Goodbar 'cause you love them."

I love the wonderful people that they have become, but man, I really miss the kids they were.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Mom I LOVE this post. I miss it too. I always tried to trade everything I had for reeses peanut butter cups! I love our family at that time, when the little kids were still little and Jake didn't tower over any of us. Thanks again for making me that poodle skirt, I loved it. And thanks for giving us a great childhood. Happy Halloween!
p.s. I love draculas blue sweats with the socks showing!!! And isn't it bittersweet that Julie will be a real bride soon?

Oh, now that is the saddest post I have ever read. Makes me want to fly my Megan out there just so that you can take her trick-or-treating. Then you can fly her back. Sound good?

Hey, I have the comprehensive guide to Dracula, where it gives a historical account of the book, and looks at every detail, and I am pretty sure that dracula wore blue sweats with the socks showing.

Awwww, Jane. Remember that little feet will be running through your house soon enough.. in the way of grandkids.. then you can spoil and hug, and make lots of new memories with them. AND, show them pictures of their parents that will totally embarrass! Love ya!
